This app allows fresh students to get acquainted with the campus and meet friends as soon as possible in various interesting treasure hunts.
We made personas and designed prototype around Nielsen’s Ten Rules after identifying the three kinds of potential users through interviews with 12 new students from different majors.
PRODUCT DESIGN The Invisible Campus | The hidden treasures on campus
- Design a location-aware app that allows students to find hidden treasures on campus, which could be social gatherings, or advanced versions of geocaching hunts.
- This involve making visible things that would otherwise be invisible or adding new experiences which would not otherwise exist.
FUNCTION 1 - NAVIGATION Provide you with clear directions to any room, café, restroom, or vending machine on campus.
FUNCTION 2 - RELAXATION At the appropriate time, remind you to take a break and go search for treasures on campus!
Check the location of the virtual treasure through the app and go find it 👀
Collect treasures and you will have the chance to receive mysterious gifts 🎁
FUNCTION 3 - MAKE FRIENDS Do you want to quickly find people with common interests on campus?
Find interesting content on the map and use hints to find new friends!
Or place a treasure on the map and wait for someone who is destined!
